Diseases of the Digestive System
Diseases of the digestive system are among the most common reason for veterinary visits and include diseases of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder and pancreas.
The most common symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, regurgitation, loss of appetite or weight loss.
The causes that trigger these diseases are often very varied. Diagnostic aids include, among others, laboratory tests, fecal examination, abdominal ultrasound, radiological examination, even endoscopic examination and biopsies.
